The role of an ambassador is to raise awareness, advocate for the Brighton Jetty Sculptures and represent its values.
The BJS Committee have much pleasure in appointing Diané Ranck OAM as an BJS Ambassador. Diané has been a supporter of the BJS since inception and has sponsored the Youth Award for many years.
Diané volunteers during the Brighton Jetty Sculptures and is a valued member of the team.
Diané has had extensive experience in the education sector across all levels, as well as private business and government. Her geography teaching has led her to teach, research, write geography textbooks and consult in Papua New Guinea, Australia, and Fiji. She has consulted in education, geography, health, and women participation in such places as Bali for the UN), Fiji and the Middle East. Her other international experiences include Thailand where she worked at the Australian Embassy as Education Counsellor for four years. Her diplomatic skills and international development led to further posts at the University of Sydney and at Flinders University in SA. Diané is currently Board Director at State Theatre Company of South Australia and Deputy Chair of State Theatre Company Foundation. She is also a Leadership mentor at SAHMRI.
Diané promotes the Brighton Jetty Sculptures through her network of business and social channels and is passionate about the Brighton Jetty Sculptures.
