Marquee Entry Fee Introduced

The Brighton Jetty Sculptures Exhibition is back for its 17th year in 2025!

This iconic event has raised over $600,000 for the Brighton Surf Life Saving Club, directly supporting Australia's largest volunteer movement, Surf Lifesaving.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Brighton Jetty Sculptures (BJS) has always been a community-driven celebration of art. Over the years, we’ve worked hard to offer artists an affordable platform to showcase their incredible work while supporting the essential work of our surf lifesavers.

Despite challenges like the loss of a naming rights sponsor and rising event costs since the pandemic, we’ve kept entry fees for artists low and maintained our prize money. In 2025, we’re excited to announce that the total prize pool has increased to $20,000!

However, to keep the event going, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to introduce a small entry fee for the marquee area where 179 indoor sculptures will be on display. The fee is just $5 for adults, with free entry for under-16s. But don’t worry! The 70 sculptures along the Esplanade and Bindarra Reserve remain free to view.

This modest fee (less than the cost of a cup of coffee) is necessary to ensure artists’ entry fees remain affordable, prize money stays intact, and the event stays financially sustainable.

The BJS receives no State government funding and has limited sponsorship, so your support is more important than ever to keep this incredible event alive and thriving!

Join us in 2025 to celebrate art, community, and the amazing volunteers who make it all possible!

Brighton Surf Club members and family receive complimentary entry.
